Founding Engineer

Personal AI operations platform

Emerging local AI agents made the opportunity obvious, but most of the existing stacks are weak on security and architecture—so I built Salmex I/O to do it the right way.

The project is a sophisticated AI operations platform—not a thin chat UI. Channels feed a gateway into a ReAct-style agent loop; risky actions pass through a judge; memory, plugins, and scheduling sit on eight Go layers behind a typed event bus, with a Tauri/SvelteKit desktop. I lead product vision, architecture, full-stack implementation, and go-to-market end-to-end.

Standalone AI-assisted grading platform for universities

Led the end-to-end productization of GOMYTEACHER, transforming internal LMS APIs into a standalone AI-assisted grading product. Partnered with founders on scope and positioning, launched a design partner program with a university and professors, and drove technical architecture, implementation, and CI/CD while hiring and mentoring a team of 4.

Founder, Open-Source Maintainer, NLUX

Created NLUX, an open-source JS/TS library that streams conversational AI into production-ready web interfaces with pluggable adapters, event hooks, and configurable UI. Led architecture, coding, documentation, and community growth to 1200+ GitHub stars and 10K+ weekly npm downloads.

Senior Software Engineer, Consultant

Core contributor to AG Grid (1M+ monthly downloads) and consultant to tier-one banks. Led UI engineering for FX Options platforms, owned event-driven front-end architecture and micro-frontends, and partnered with front-office stakeholders to ship performance-critical trading workflows.

Executive Director, Digital Trading Tech

Led UI development for Marquee’s cross-asset derivatives trading app across FX/EQ/Commodities. Built and managed a globally distributed team, partnered daily with traders, sales, and platform teams, and provided white-glove front-office support during trading hours.

Senior Software Engineer, Amazon

Built cross-platform Prime Video applications and a rendering engine/SDK for interactive smart TVs. Shipped Prime Video to new devices, rebuilt the movie detail page into a cinematic experience, and owned 24/7 on-call rotation for global streaming reliability.
